The Pet Lady Blueprint

The Pet Lady is a local professional pet care company. Our clients know that they are trusting their fur babies and their homes to a well-established, experienced, qualified, insured and bonded business. We have a full-time office staff that is always available to help our clients, as well as speak with anyone who is interested in designing a customized visit plan for while they are away. We are members of Pet Sitters International, Texas Pet Sitters Association and have been awarded Neighborhood Favorite by Nextdoor in 2021,2022 & 2023.

We understand that owning and taking care of a pet is a large investment, so we make our services affordable and competitive. We offer our services at many different price points to accommodate all pet care budgets.

We know that no two homes or pets are exactly the same, so we offer a wide variety of services to precisely fit your needs. We will tailor your pet's care plan to exactly what they need. We can offer an estimate of all charges before our meet & greet.

We ONLY hire dedicated pet care professionals. All of our sitters have some sort of experience in the pet care field and view their time with The Pet Lady as part of their career path. We are very particular on who we hire, and every employee goes through an extensive background check. For the safety of the pets in our care, The Pet Lady only offers one-on-one care. We do not do pack walks. While on walks we do not allow pets to interact with other pets or people for everyone's safety. Additionally, all of our sitters live within their area, so if an emergency arises there is always someone close by to cover any visits needed.

Our experience and knowledge allow us to better understand your pet’s needs and how to best interact with them. The Pet Lady strongly believes in forever learning and staying on top of all pet related information. We are always updating our expertise of animal behavior, care and training. The Pet Lady requires every sitter to be Pet First Aid & CPR Certified.

Here at The Pet Lady, we take advantage of all that technology has to offer in regard to running our business. We use a high-tech scheduling and database system called Time To Pet so NO visit is ever missed. This portal also provides convenience for our clients to communicate with your sitter, receive your visit report cards, book pet care, view their personal service calendar, keep all pet & home care information up to date and all billing information.

To best service our clients it is vital that we obtain feedback, so we do ask for an assessment of your experience with The Pet Lady. We highly encourage our clients to let us know what they loved about the process and what suggestions they may have by filling out our Client Feedback Form.

The Pet Lady was founded on my passion & love for animals, which this is still the foundation of our business & success. All of us at The Pet Lady make it our top priority to provide your pets with as much love and attention as you would. Our goal is to promote your pet’s health and well-being while you are away.
