We are here to make sure your fur babies receive the best possible care while you are away to spend holiday time with your family & friends. Since this requires our sitters to spend additional time away from their family & friends during the holiday season, we do charge a fee of $10 per drop-in visit and $20 per overnight visit applied to the following holidays: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day (night), Easter Weekend (including Good Friday), Mother's Day, Memorial Day Weekend (including Friday), Father's Day, 4th of July (3rd, 4th & 5th), Labor Day Weekend (including Friday), Thanksgiving Week (beginning the Friday before to the Sunday after) and Christmas & New Years (approximately December 18-January 7).
Spring Break is not charged holiday fees but because of the high volume of requests, it is treated like a holiday in accordance with holiday cancellation policies.
For visits scheduled with less than 48-hour notice there will be a onetime fee of $60 for non-holiday visits. Fees are doubled during holiday periods.
A significant amount of time is spent on planning and scheduling visits for the week, and additional time has to be taken to readjust both our sitters and other clients' visits to accommodate last minute changes. Including calling in additional sitters that are off during that time. We do understand that emergencies happen, and you can speak with management to discuss your needs if necessary.
Non-Holiday Visits:
- More than 72 hours notice No charge
- 24-72 hours notice is 50% Fee
- Less than 24 hours 100% Fee
Holiday Visits:
- More than 7 days notice No charge
- 3 to 7 days notice is 50% Fee
- Less than 3 days notice 100% Fee
Refunds will be applied as a credit toward future services.
Canceling your appointment means you no longer need a sitter to come to your home; however, a significant amount of time has been spent preparing for your visit, and additional time is necessary to readjust schedules and other clients' visits. Please remember that we are sometimes booked months in advance for services. We sometimes have to turn down caring for other clients, and sitters often give up plans with family and friends to care for your fur babies.
